| Description | This excellent new opportunity for a Transfer Station Manager has arisen in one the country\'s leading waste management companies.
Reporting to the Regional MRF Operations Manager you will be responsible for four full time people covering the operation of mobile plant through to weighbridge software. You will also be responsible, through the team, for ensuring that the site complies with all relevant legislation including: recording the day’s activities in the site diary; ensuring the site is clean and tidy; ensuring all applicable Health and Safety rules are observed; and general daily operations of the site.
This position would suit somebody who either has a COTC in waste treatment or transfer, is working towards it, or who is prepared to achieve this, and who has a flexible outlook towards work as occasional additional hours might be required around bank holidays or special situations. Previous experience in a similar role as well as mobile plant driving qualification will be a distinct advantage.
